What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

From my research I have concluded that the institution that my distribute my magazine would be Immediate Media Company.

Immediate Media Company is one of the biggest consumer media businesses in the UK, they sell over 70 million magazine each year. People read their content across 36 websites, 58 magazines and have over 70 brands. This company also publishes magazines such as 'Top of the Pops' which is a extremely popular pop magazine in the UK.  I believe that this institution may distribute my magazine as it it targeting a mainstream mass audience which has been proven popular and profitable. Although IMC already publish Top of the Pop I believe that a fresh new pop magazine would allow their company to expand and gain more readers. 

My magazine targets an older more mature age group (15- 18) than Top of the Pops which has an average target audience of 12 year olds, allowing Immediate Media Company to close the gap in the market and to expand their audiences age range.
